Yet, another published article by the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine indicates that the probability of injury and risk at the work place was likely common for employees working over or 12 hours by 37% (Fried et al, 2009: 4). Overall, stress results into reduced job performance and actualization, decreased creativity, and enhanced chances of crises and friction. Interestingly, this lead to more stress (Fried et al, 2009: 3-4). It then follows that stress management techniques such as yoga, mediation, breath exercise and counseling play an instrumental role to human-health. Undeniably, stress should thus not be ignored at the work place because ignoring stress signals result into fatigue and sometimes harm. Simply defined, tress management refers to the lessons that aid in the appreciation that stress is part and parcel of life everyday. It focuses on what can be done to manage and control stress.
